Using a Mono Repo

Using a mono repository allows all associated code to be in a single space, allowing us to control changes in code, detecting who affects us with the changes and who we affect with the changes. The controls performed in PULL REQUEST allow us to analyze the impact of the code. If it is also developed in such a way that only components with a given structure are created, it is possible to implement automations for building applications using archetypes. Associated with these methodologies are the implementation of Trunk Based development, and pure DevOps application. The objective of this project was the implementation of an Inner Source solution, applying these criteria, so that it would be possible to share code among all countries that were developing mobile applications, thus achieving reuse and cost reduction. The project was canceled due to a strategic change, where development was centralized, and the client did not see it follow at this time.

Creation of API and Architecture components

Creating a team in Mexico and another in Spain, we worked on the team in Spain in the development of architectural pieces for the development of APIs and microservices. Within this development, parts were created to apply authorization using XACML, error handling, automations for code generation, obfuscation libraries, etc. In addition, from the team in Spain the Transfer API was developed. All the code was made using Java Reactive.

Creating a Security API / Microservices environment

Design and definition of a security solution for API's and Microservices, adapting it to the specific needs of internal applications and external exposures. The solution looked at security requirements, deployment control, authentication, and authorization models, etc.

To be able to perform this solution, it was built from a Fork of an Existing API Gateway, although only part of the source functionality was used. Security policies were defined for access to services, as well as an authentication model for legacy applications .

During my time as Innovation Manager, work was carried out on various projects and the construction of a new offer for the market. Within the projects that were carried out, BigData solutions (for CDR analytics in Judicial requirements -TELCO), mobility, indoor positioning, virtual reality, augmented reality, use of microservices, etc. were applied. A mobility solution was made especially for museums, where a technological demonstration model was applied in which mobility, indoor positioning, augmented reality and virtual reality were integrated. Unfortunately the project was eventually lost to issues outside the team. .

I joined Telefónica Móviles as DBA SQL Server, performing the tasks of defining database maintenance, and then performing a consolidation and reorganization of the servers in Telefónica Móviles.
